| Florida, 1960. Hurricane Donna is heading for landfall , as Boza and Ruth, two newlywed enter their honeymoon suite in the sky, a treehouse, assembled and filled to the brim with gardenias, by the young groom to surprise his bride. The happily ever after ending is interrupted by the realities of marriage and all its challenges. As the storm draws closer the young lovers story becomes one that challenges our preception of marriage, loss, faith and love. |

| "It is a production that forces you to sit quietly and listen attentively, helped by designer Lea Umberger's lovely, unobtrusive setting."- Sam Thielman, Variety "Framing their tete-a-tete, is Lea Umberger's set, an arboreal heaven, complete with bed, gardenias, lantern and a canopy overhead suggesting a weeping willow. Sweet Storm stays with you like the freshness following a summer cloudburst." - Andy Webster, NY Times |
